The Journal of Impossible Things

How long are you gonna stay with meMy dear friends,

This is the end. Over the last two years, you guys stuck with me through months long absences while I finished my bachelors degree, and now this portion of our journey comes to an end. As I write this, Guardians of the Galaxy plays in the background, and I try to hold off the tears threatening to spill–to no avail. This story has meant so much to me. It started as a random idea I had one day and was never supposed to go on this long. But the story wants what the story wants, right?

I hope you’ve enjoyed the story of Sookie and The Doctor’s search for Eric. We’ve been to Sweden and Scotland, bit our nails together as Sookie was almost been burned at the stake, and worried over Eric’s future at the hands of his maker. Together. I’ve been on this train with you all, fretting about these characters I’ve come to love.

Thank you for coming along on this journey with me, and allowing me to tell you this story.

The Epilogue: We’re All Mad Here

Side note about the last chapter: Skates refer to the fish, not the kind from the 70s that I loved when I was a child.

In addition, I give you the story I wrote for Kittyinaz’s Fairytale contest, the first of the Wonderland outtakes. I couldn’t tell you that I entered at all, since it was supposed to be anonymous and the story is obviously mine. But I do want to say that the banner she created for the story has been my desktop for a couple weeks now. It is absolutely gorgeous and I am in love with it. Update: The story took 3rd place!!! WHOOP WHOOP! Thanks to everyone who voted!!!

We’re All Stories in the End
It’s based in the world of The Night Circus, the amazing and incredible book by Erin Morgenstern. If you haven’t read it, I highly, highly recommend it. It absolutely blew my mind. It has some of the most beautiful prose I’ve ever read in my life.

Kittyinaz ROCKS!

The gorgeous banner made by Kittyinaz for this story, which was submitted for her Fairy Tale contest. 3rd place y’all! WHAT!

Thank you once again. You are all beautiful and amazing and all things good. Please enjoy.

Mad Lovely,
Secret Nerd Princess

Also: If you are a fan of Arrow, you can delve into my Arrow universe stories. I wrote a new one-shot, and started my full length story in that world.
